Christmas Eve 2017

We’re delighted to share our own Advent countdown with you this month, featuring seasonal botanical images painted by the talented members of EGS and CSBA aulmni group, Amicus Botanicus, and CSBA tutors. A new image will be posted each day as we enjoy the anticipation and preparations for a joyful Christmas.

Today we feature Christmas by Erico Miki, Dip EGS, AB.

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.

“The Night Before Christmas”, Clement Clark Moore, 1823
