Freesias painted by fledgling artists

Our 3-day beginners course with Elaine Searle was held at the gallery in the Chelsea Physic Garden last month.  Fledgling painters learned the rudiments and techniques required to paint exquisite Freesias with some great results.

After two years as diploma course director, Elaine has decided to step down at the end of 2017.  She looks forward to spending more time painting and developing some personal projects in botanical art education.  Elaine has been an inspirational team
leader for the school, tutors and students and we wish her well in her new ventures.

Elaine will continue to teach some of the more advanced diploma course subjects and mentor 2016 and 2017 students working toward their diplomas.

We look forward to welcoming Elaine back for three Short Courses in 2018.  You will find more details on the Current Short
Courses page and are able to complete the form on the Short Courses Application page to reserve your place.
