Our 3-day beginners course with Elaine Searle was held at the gallery in the Chelsea Physic Garden last month.  Fledgling painters learned the rudiments and techniques required to paint exquisite Freesias with some great results. After two years as diploma course director, Elaine has decided to step down at the end of 2017.  She looks forward to spending more time painting and developing some personal projects in botanical art education.  Elaine has been an inspirational team leader for the school, tutors and students and we wish her well in her new ventures. New Short Courses for 2018

We’re please to announce the addition of two new Short Courses to the 2018 calendar at Chelsea School of Botanical Art.   Elaine Searle will be sharing her expertise and love of anemones with us during a 4-day course in April, and we’ll be welcoming Christabel King (pictured left) back to the school for a 3-day Masterclass on Autumn Fruits and Seeds in September.  Please visit the Current Short Courses page for more information, and complete the form on the Short Courses Application page to reserve your place.
