Helen Allen, founder and principal of the Chelsea School of Botanical Art, will be leading a four-day botanical art workshop in Guernsey.  The workshop runs from 12th to 15th June, 10am to 4pm, as part of the Guernsey Arts Commission’s Lady Tait Botanical Art Exhibition. In the coming months we’re pleased to host two renowned botanical artists and a yet-to-be-revealed third here in Chelsea. Lizzie Sanders’ background in graphic design and advertising in Italy brings an enviable level of finesse to her clean and fresh work. She will be teaching the Crisp, Clear and Contemporary Masterclass to 12 experienced botanical painters for three days from 20th June. In September we welcome Christabel King back to the school. Snowdrops with CSBA at the RHS London Fair

Our pop-up classroom at this year’s RHS London Early Spring Plant Fair was as popular as ever.  We were joined by budding artists, young and younger all painting snowdrops for Valentine’s Day.  We had a wonderful time introducing techniques of botany and watercolour painting to visitors and look forward to seeing you there next year!
